Programme Study Art in the UK is designed for creative students and artists who would like to study in the UK at the world’s most renowned and outstanding art, music and film schools.
Study Art in the UK – Our students are enrolled on courses in universities such as UAL (University of the Arts London), Royal Academy of Music, Glasgow School of Art, and studying film at NYU and visual arts at UIC Barcelona.
Outline of the programme
The art and design programme is divided into a number of stages which share the common goal of ensuring that Elab can maximise your chances of successfully applying to the best institutions for these subjects The programme comprises:
Morrisby Diagnostic Tests and Assessment – complete a thorough diagnostic test designed to highlight strengths and interests and determine suitable and fitting career directions.
University report – receive a personalised report with feedback and recommendations from the assessment process based on findings and suggestions including: selection of available courses and universities most suitable for you, entry requirements, descriptions and statistics.
Consultant assistance – each of our applicants will be allocated a personal consultant in Poland who has the professional experience and knowledge to prepare your application and monitor and check every detail. Your consultant will oversee the development of your competencies and support you in building an excellent candidate profile ensure that your application contains all the required documents and is submitted on time.
Mentor assistance – each of our applicants is allocated a mentor from your chosen art and design course or similar. The mentor is responsible for managing the content of the application and helps you with personal statement, but most importantly evaluates and advises on your portfolio works selection as well as trains you for interview.
Advisory support – The success of each application will depend on a number of factors, most importantly how a candidate presents their experience, character and future plans. We will help you clarify, develop and expand each of these elements, in order to make your application striking and effective.
One of the most important elements of your application to study art and design is your portfolio – admissions tutors will decide whether or not to invite you to interview for a place based on the quality of the portfolio you submit.Therefore our main focus is on working with mentors in order to produce an excellent portfolio and prepare for interview.
UCAS Application Documentation – once the assessment and diagnostic stage is complete the consultant and applicant will start work on the application documents comprising:
Personal Statement (including reading lists and supplementary courses)
Portfolio (digital verison)
Relocation support– receive advice on finding accommodation, financing and settling in.
